We've been notified by our telephony service provider that maintenance will be undertaken on SBCs which provide phone service to the university. Work will occur:
During this maintenance there will be times when it will not be possible to place or receive external calls. Ongoing calls may be disconnected.
Secondly, we've been notified by TENET that one of the links which connects the university PBX to our telephony service provider will be unavailable between 8:00 and 12:00 AM on Saturday, October 10th. No noticeable outage is expected as the alternate link should continue to carry all calls. However, in the event of a failure of the alternate link during that time, it would not be possible to place or receive external calls and ongoing calls would be disconnected.
Internal calls within the university PBX system will not be affected by any of these maintenance events.
