We've just been informed that SEACOM need to conduct some emergency maintenance during the course of the night. Exact details aren't yet known, but it is likely that there'll be an hour's outage some time between 02:00 and 07:00 tomorrow (19 April).

During the commissioning work in newly built Gulf segment, we have observed a fault in Oman which could affect potential future SEACOM network operations. To avoid a prolonged outage during business hours, we have planned emergency maintenance activity on 18th April 2011 from 2200 GMT to 0300 GMT to resolve this as there is a cable ship available. During this activity we need to shutdown the Mumbai segment for 1 hour (anticipated maximum) which will affect all the traffic passing through Mumbai.

We're at GMT+2, so this is 00:00 to 05:00 on 19th April 2011.
