Shortly after 3PM this afternoon the University lost access to the Internet. Users will likely experience this outage as an ERR_DNS_FAIL or ERR_CONNECT_FAIL error when trying to access websites on the Internet.
The problem appears to be that at least two of SANReN's backbone circuits have failed.
