On Friday night, starting after 9 PM, there will be number of (hopefully <30 minute) outages that will affect all parts of the campus network, and thus access to the Internet. All network services will be affected, so users will likely experience the outages as network-dependant applications failing to respond.
During these outages, configuration changes will be made to core switches on the network which require that the switches be restarted.
