During the course of this morning we've tidied up the firewall rule set running on our border routers. The changes we've made were mostly routine maintenance (removing hosts that no longer exist, expired rules, etc) and as a result, nobody should really be affected by this.
This post serves merely to inform you that we've made some significant changes. If you've been relying on explicit exceptions in the firewall, you'd be wise to check that things still work as you expect. They probably will, but if they don't please let support@ru.ac.za know.
