2014/02/08 - emergency maintenance, all services
During the course of this evening we may need to perform emergency maintenance affecting almost all centrally-provided IT services, including email, file & print sharing, fax, protea, and network registration. During the work many of these services will be unavailable. However, Internet access and telephones should not be affected.

The exact timing of this is uncertain as, if at all possible, it'll be scheduled to minimise the impact on student registration. We'll endeavour to conduct this work after 6PM, and expect it will take 1-3 hours to complete. Given the nature of the problem, all services should be considered at-risk from now until the work is completed.
