There is currently no fix for the problem available from Microsoft. However, you can work around this problem by starting Outlook in safe mode. To do this:
- Click on Start, Run OR click on Start and in the Search Programs and Files type Outlook.exe /safe
- MS Outlook will open in safe mode.
- Click on File and then select Options.
- Select Add-Ins and the select the Go button. COM Add-Ins screen will open.
- Untick all Add-Ins that’s available except for the Office Link and Windows Search Email Indexer add-in, then click OK.
- Close MS Outlook and restart the program.
