The host server that was responsible for the outage last Tuesday and the mail problems yesterday had to be brought back into service for the scheduled maintenance yesterday. Unfortunately it continues to be problematic. Whilst we've managed to migrate most services off this host, we've been unable to move all services off this host.

At present, the following services are affected and at risk:
  • RADIUS (affecting logins for the wireless network, eduroam, VPN, and other things)
  • FileDirector
  • Windows Software Update Service (WSUS)

All these services are currently responding correctly. However, the may be slow, and as things stand we're currently unable to manage them in any way.

It is likely that we'll undertake emergency maintenance after 5PM. However, there is a possibility that if things deteriorate further, we may need to bring this forward.
