On Saturday night, starting after 8 PM, there will be number of (hopefully <30 minute) outages that will affect all parts of the campus network, and thus access to the Internet. Users will likely experience the outages as network-dependant applications failing to respond.
During these outages, configuration changes will be made to core switches on the network which require that the switches be restarted.
