Shortly after 10AM this morning, the University lost all access to the Internet. Users will likely experience this as an ERR_DNS_FAIL or ERR_CONNECT_FAIL error when trying to access websites.
The cause of the outage is currently not known, but is a fault somewhere on our upstream service provider's network. It is likely that it's related to the brief (~ 5 minute) outage we experienced at around 9AM. TENET's service desk detected the earlier fault and have already initiated an investigation. We're awaiting feedback from them.
