Yesterday at around 11:30 AM, and again at around 8:30 PM, the University's main IMAP mail server crashed. The first outage lasted approximately 1 1/4 hours, the second approximately 14 hours. As of about 10:30 AM this morning (1st January) this mail server is operational again. You should be aware, however, that it will take several hours for the backlog of incoming e-mail to be delivered.
