Just after 5PM this evening we'll be taking two of the Novell servers, gecko and jackal, down for urgent maintenance. The two machines will be taken down sequentially. It is expected that gecko will be down for significantly longer than jackal as it needs more work. Hopefully neither machine will be down for longer than an hour.
Gecko provides staff with home directories and handles print services.
Jackal provides students with home directories.
