On Sunday 18 March, from 2 PM onwards, there might be temporary network outages in various parts of the university network. We are planning steps to minimise the number and duration of possible outages; however, if and when outages do occur, users will not be able to access any network service, including the Internet and e-mail.
The reason for the outage is that the routing protocol used by the routers on the network will be changed from BGP to OSPF.
