During the course of today, most likely during this evening, power to the switching centre in the Eden Grove building will be interrupted. This interruption is to allow us, in conjunction with the University electricians, to make provisions for redundant power during the course of registration.
As we're not yet sure how much of the infrastructure in Eden Grove we're going to power it is difficult for us to predict the impact of this work. At the very least, the Eden Grove building itself will be affected. The Eden Grove public lab, Truro house, Alumni house and other buildings in the immediate vicinity of the Eden Grove may also be connected.
We will work around critical areas, such a registration, so that they are not affected by this. For those people in other areas, we apologise in advance for the inconvenience this will create.
