The firewall between the residence network and the rest of the network will be replaced tomorrow (Tuesday). There will be a number of times during the day when all PCs on the residence network will not be able to access the campus network or the Internet. Residence wardens, GRPGV and The Greens' network will also be affected.
We will endeavor to keep outages as brief as possible, and expect to have completed the work by the end of working hours.
This upgrade is one of a series of upgrades necessary to provide additional network capacity to handle future growth in the residence network.
