Firstly, the mains power supply for the Struben Building will be replaced on Thursday afternoon between 16:00 and 16:30. We have planned for this to be done without causing any interruption to the power supply for our servers and network equipment, but should something go wrong it is possible that those servers and network equipment will need to be shut down for a while. Secondly, the scheduled Internet connection cutover that was to have occurred this afternoon has been postponed to (provisionally) 17:00 on Thursday. This will mean that Rhodes will be disconnected from the Internet until 18:00 -- Guy's original topic has the full details of the impact of this change.
