It appears as if SAIX have another problem with their international routers. Traffic appears to be limited to about a third of our normal bandwidth, resulting in very slow connectivity to international sites. This will be most noticable when browsing web sites that are hosted overseas and affects all users at Rhodes.
We've attempted to log a fault with SAIX, but unfortunately their fault reporting system is faulty. As a result they can't give us a estimated time-to-resolution for this problem. If normal operations haven't resumed by the end of lunch time, we'll follow up them again.
This may or may not be related to the problems SAIX was experiencing yesterday.
