Rhodes has been suffering from an intermittent loss in national and international connectivity since about 2 PM this afternoon. Higher educational traffic appears to be unaffected. The fault was reported to Telkom/SAIX at about 2.30 PM and has been doing the rounds of their various call centres since then. They don't yet appear to have isolated the cause of the fault, although it appears from TENET's graphs that it's just Rhodes that is affected.
There is no anticipated time to resolution for this problem at this stage.
