Elephant.ru.ac.za, the IMAP mail server, is not booting after what should have been a routine operating system upgrade from FreeBSD 4.9 to FreeBSD 5.2. We are working on the problem.
No data (email!) has been lost, but be aware that once the system has been recovered there may be considerable delays in processing mail that has been queued for delivery by remote systems.
