During the course of the next few months, most likely at the Tuesday March 1 maintenance window, the file sharing service at files.ru.ac.za will be discontinued.
SANReN's FileSender service at https://filesender.sanren.ac.za/ is a replacement service, and allows you to share significantly larger files (10GB vs 100MB). All staff and students can use their Rhodes credentials to log into via RU Single-SignOn.
Google Drive can also be used by staff for the same purpose.
