There is currently a network problem affecting the main campus sector. This will cause frequent, intermittent network problems for all computers and telephones in the affected area (all buildings in the area bounded by Lucas Avenue, Somerset St, Prince Alfred St, and a straight line running between the Library/Oriel and Biological Sciences/Botha).
The problem is caused by the two distribution routers for the sector both believing they are authoritative, and thus fighting with each other. The root cause of this is not yet known, but we're working on this as I write.
