We are currently experiencing extremely high latencies through the Johannesburg Link. Internet Solutions is currently investigating and we will advise as soon as we have an indication as to what the problem might be. Due to the raised latencies, this could result in some slow down of TCP sessions and general internet performance on the Johannesburg based sites.
Rhodes is a Johannesburg-based site, and is affected by the above. Users will experience the problem as intermittently slow access to international sites (including .za sites hosted overseas).
