The Electrical Section have just informed us that the Municipality will be working on the RU1 sub-station (below Atherstone, opposite College) on Sunday 5th June. The scheduled outage will be between 13:00 and 17:00
RU1 supplies electrical power to most of campus, including Struben building which contains the central server/network room. As a result, all users on campus will be unable to use any of the computer or network infrastructure on campus. This outage will also affect users who connect to the University from remote sites.
Please note that the date and time of this outage has been changed from 2005/05/29 to 2005/06/05 13:00 - 17:00.
