During the course of lunch tomorrow (13:00-14:00, 2005/05/17), electrical contractors will be carrying out planned maintenance on the regional switching centre that supplies buildings on the lower half of campus North of Prince Alfred Street (from Great Hall to Somerset Street) with connectivity. As a result, buildings connecting via this switching centre will be without connectivity of any form during the lunch period.

The following departments, institutes and residences will be affected: Politics, ISER, SAIAB, Ichthyology, Stables, Sociology, Anthropology, Human Kintecs and Ergonomics, Allan Grey House, Graham House. (NB! Graham House is an exception)

Users may find that they need to reboot their computers after lunch in order to reconnect to the University's network.
