The main PABX system will go down at 1:00pm tomorrow 17 February for maintenance purposes. This will affect all incomming and outgoing calls to campus and will kill phones on the central campus in most areas. It is anticipated that the disruptions will only last for about 12 minutes. However, we have allowed for a period of 1 hr downtime in case of any unexpected delays.
All systems should be back up at 2:00pm. If you should experience any problems with this service after 2:00pm please notify the switchboard, or log a fault with support@ru.ac.za.
This outage will not affect any direct Telkom lines that are notconnected to the PABX system.
