Network maintenance will be conducted on Wednesday, 10th August, affecting a number of off campus buildings. Between 7 AM and 5 PM, the fibre optic cables connecting those buildings to the university campus will be reterminated, so a backup wireless link will be used to connect them instead. The wireless link is of a substantially lower capacity than the fibre optic cable, so access from those buildings to the campus network and the Internet will be slower than normal. The Law Clinic will be connected via a dedicated wireless link, so network access should not be affected to the same extent as the buildings listed above.
